About the Director:
This is Janae West's 15th year teaching. She has built several vocal music programs from small struggling programs to multiple award winning show choirs that have tripled in student enrollment. She plays piano, choreographs, arranges, designs, and directs.
Janae West started private voice lessons at the young age of 4. She grew up in dance classes (jazz, tap, ballet), acting classes, musical theater classes, and piano classes. As a child she was an extra on TV shows, commercials, movies, and prints. Her first job in high school was being a performer at Disneyland! Janae graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2005 and began teaching right away. She finished her masters in 2016. In addition to teaching, Miss West works as a stage manager, professional singer, and audio engineer (mixing live shows) . When she isn't working, she likes to spend time with family at the river water-skiing and boating.
